Tool Joint
The main purpose of drill pipe joints is to connect drill pipes, protect the drill pipe body from wear, and facilitate loading and unloading during drilling operations. Drill pipe joints are used in pairs, where one drill pipe is paired with a male joint and one female joint at each end. The main function of this design is to connect drill rods to form a continuous drill string, which is used in oil drilling and other operations. The use of joints not only enhances the connection strength of the drill pipe, but also protects the drill pipe body from wear and tear. In drilling operations, the use of joints makes the loading and unloading of drill pipes more convenient and improves work efficiency. In addition, drill pipe joints can also be used to connect downhole tools of different sizes and threads, as well as to protect the threads of square drill pipes and drill collars from wear and tear caused by frequent tightening and loosening.
